Amanda Magadan Makes 18 Member Travel Squad

Amanda will soon be traveling to South Africa to participate in the FIH World League semifinals July 8-23rd. Currently the the US squad is ranked sixth in the World. Amanda joined the team full time right after her graduation several weeks ago. During her final semester at Lafayette she traveled to the national practice site in Lancaster, Pa from friday to sunday.

She recently earned three caps playing in a three game series against Ireland. She was in the regular rotation and on several occasions involved in crucial scoring opportunities.

Amanda enjoyed support during the process including a fan contingent from Lafayette during the Irish test series.

In other news, rising junior midfielder, Theresa Delhanty made the national women’s championships, a first step in ending up where Amanda is today
